“While the Lord is working through the few who see the imperative duty and unspeakable joy of soul-winning, the great majority of Christians do not realise that He is waiting for them to share in this all-important ministry. Every disciple of Jesus Christ is called to be a soul-winner. How strange, then, that some Ministers are content to labour on year after year in the varied round of Church work without the joy of soul-winning, and that the majority of Church members ignore the duty and know nothing of this glad service! “True, not every one can speak to crowds. But each one can reach relatives, friends, and neighbours one by one, and the speedy evangelisation of the world depends upon every Christian doing this. It is accomplished by a simple, clear, Christ-like life, by praying definitely for such individuals as the Lord directs, and giving to them positive witness of His power and willingness to save to the uttermost as revealed in the Bible. “R. A. Torrey was known the world over as a mighty Evangelist. This book was written with the full assurance that many will be strengthened to go forward in what they are now doing, and some who have never realised the importance of one by one work will see both its need and value, and be led to start upon this blessed ministry. The message of the book, like the work it sets forth, is not for the few, but for every Christian.” (Adapted from the Foreword) Product Code: 1155; pages, 96 This Schmul Publishing Co. edition is not a scanned facsimile of a used book.
