Subtitled: Or, Christ No Pessimist, and Other Essays The Early Methodist interpretation of what is now called “end times prophecy” was somewhat different than what prevails among Evangelicals today. Daniel Steele (The Gospel of the Comforter, Love Enthroned, Antinomianism Revived, Milestone Papers, et. al.), a professor in the School of Theology at Boston University, was among the foremost of Methodist Holiness expositors. Jesus Exultant is exemplary of his work. The first chapters deal with Christ’s coming, and then the author moves into other encouraging considerations, such as sharing Christ’s glory; the Sons of God; the “greater works” of Believers; the Holy Spirit’s earthly temple; a powerful view of the divine value of mankind, and more. Here is a heartening, upbeat book that will lift your spirit. Code: 6734 This Schmul Publishing Co. edition is not a scanned facsimile of a used book. It has not been “updated” or edited into modern English, punctuation or grammar, but is accurate to the author’s own style and usage. The text has been carefully proofread for accuracy and formatted for easier reading by today’s readers. Every effort has been made to prevent disordered text.
