I Met A Man with a Shinning Face: An Autobiography Author: Harry E. Jessop The narrative of how one of the twentieth century’s strongest proponents of Entire Sanctification received the blessing himself, in his own words. The renowned college professor reveals how he was already converted and preaching when he was sanctified under the sermon of a dry goods dealer. Dr. Jessop spends the rest of the book dealing with the doctrine itself — what it is and what it is not. The great teacher discloses the way he taught about holiness. Then he discusses how the holiness people are distinguished from other Christians. Coming from a Calvinist background, he is especially qualified to address mistaken beliefs of others concerning the holiness people and what they advocate. This is a valuable resource for those who are examining the scriptural foundations of the Second Blessing, and for those who want to know how better to explain it to others.
