The birthright of every born again child of God is to be Christlike— holy in character, blameless in human relations and characterized by the same love that determined the self-giving life of Jesus. This book pointedly demonstrates how God planned this in eternity, provided it in the Atonement, and made it possible through the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit. With abundant reliance on scripture, the author asserts the life of holiness purifies the heart of inner defilement, filling believers with all the fullness of God and enabling them to be more than conquerors. In short, such a cleansing makes it possible for such people to live like Christ “in a crooked and depraved generation in which you shine like stars in the universe, holding out the word of life” (Phil. 2:15-16a) for the glory of God and the salvation of the lost. #5320/302 pages
