A few years after he published Touching Incidents and Remarkable Answers to Prayer (Item 3654) S.B. Shaw bowed to repeated requests for a similar book for children. With the original illustrations, Children’s Edition of Touching Incidents and Remarkable Answers to Prayer has more than thirty-five stories of God’s grace and provision for children and youth in times of deepest need. Here are stories of children standing steadfast in the face of persecution and opposition, the prayers of children for the salvation of their ungodly parents, and the final triumph of sick and dying young people. These are true tales of divine provision in the face of desperate need, starvation and loneliness. Here are authentic accounts of kindness, sympathy, obedience, gratitude, courage and faithfulness to hearten and cheer readers of all ages. Parents will find these stories to be wholesome bedtime reading. Preachers and teachers will also discover a plentiful supply of illustrations for sermons, vacation bible school, Sunday School and children’s ministries.
